Intro: The Educational Resource Hub
Welcome to Mama Brew’s Classroom — a hub for all things education, rooted in heart, equity, and purpose.
This space brings together everything I’ve created as an educator, curriculum developer, and instructional leader. Here, you will find thoughtfully designed teaching resources, original frameworks like I-CRT (Individualized Culturally Responsive Teaching), and professional development materials used in classrooms and conferences, including the ASCD Ghana Conference.
You’ll also meet the Abura Kids, culturally grounded characters who bring joy, identity, and learning to life, and explore “Brewisms,” personal reflections and quotes that inspire both teachers and students to lead with courage, confidence, and hope.
From poems and flipbooks to teacher guides and PD toolkits, Mama Brew’s Classroom Educational Resource Hub is more than a store, it’s a growing community, a resource library, and a place to reflect, connect, and transform.
In this Resource Hub, you will find the WHAT and WHY behind my frameworks, designed to inform, inspire, and shift practice. But the HOW lives in collaboration. Whether you're drawn to Thinking Jobs, SEL with the Abura Kids, or culturally responsive teaching through I-CRT, you’re welcome to explore what fits.
-
You don’t have to explore it all.

Maybe just one tool is the right fit for now.

About Me
I’m Jacqueline Ward-Brew, an educator, assistant principal, curriculum developer, and founder of Mama Brew’s Classroom and Abura Kids Int. Inc. I was born in Ghana and moved to the United States at the age of five.
My identity is shaped by both cultures: the confidence that comes from being raised and educated in America, and the grounding, strength, and values of my Ghanaian upbringing. That blend gives me a unique lens on education, one that recognizes the power of cultural identity and the need for representation in learning spaces.
My background blends classroom teaching, instructional leadership, and educational consulting, with a deep focus on early childhood education, the science of reading, executive function, and culturally responsive teaching. I believe education should reflect the brilliance and potential of every child, and that teachers deserve tools that are practical, thoughtful, and grounded in research.
I created the I-CRT framework (Individualized Culturally Responsive Teaching) in service of my younger self and for every child who has ever felt unseen. It’s a way to build classrooms where students aren’t just taught, they are understood, respected, and valued for who they are. Whether I’m designing curriculum, leading professional development, or creating culturally grounded children’s books, my mission is always the same: to grow hearts, grow minds, and grow futures.
TPT Store: Educational Resources
Welcome to Mama Brew’s Classroom, my online teacher store where every resource is created with heart, purpose, and a deep commitment to helping children grow.
As an educator and curriculum designer, I create materials that are meaningful, culturally responsive, and easy to use. My resources are made for real classrooms, full of curiosity, joy, and everyday challenges. I focus on early childhood education, the science of reading, and social-emotional learning, all through a lens of equity and creativity. Whether it’s a poem, flipbook, or task card, each product is designed to support teachers, engage students, and spark lasting learning. You’ll find tools that are practical, intentional, and filled with heart.
I create to empower. I share to uplift. I teach to transform.
Thanks for being here:
Let’s grow hearts, minds, and futures together.

-
Curiosity is a strength — It reminds us that ignorance is not a weakness unless we choose to stay in it.
-
Teachability is a virtue — Wisdom begins with acknowledging what we don’t know.
-
Learning is continuous — It’s not confined to school, titles, or age, it’s a lifelong process.
